CinemaCon week is finally upon us. After months of planning, un-planning and re-planning in the hope we would all be reunited to toast the end of the Covid-era over margaritas at Caesar’s Palace, and celebrate 10 years of the industry’s most revered event, unfortunately the Delta variant had other plans.

We at Showtime were particularly excited to announce the launch of several new long-awaited additions to our growing product suite for both the exhibitor and distributor communities. Despite the industry’s toughest ever year our team pulled out all the stops in getting ready to showcase the game-changing new offerings we have been working hard on building for our customers over the last 18 months. 

Like many of you, CinemaCon provides us with one of the most important opportunities for our business. We get to meet with our customers, potential customers and partners, to listen to what challenges they are facing in their lives and give us direction on how our solutions can be customised to help overcome these problems. 

But with the disappointing news that we were not permitted to travel to the US from our home in the Emerald Isle we decided to change tack to make sure the chance to reconnect with old friends and form relationships with new industry contacts did not go amiss.
