Coming to a Showtime Screen Near You

While the weaker Autumn release calendar may mark a more challenging phase for Exhibitors, taking a data driven approach to your marketing will help you maximise the factors within your control when running campaigns to drive attendance at your theatre.

Here’s an overview of our latest Engage feature releases designed to make your life easier and help you generate campaign uplift.

ADDITIONAL SEGMENTATION ATTRIBUTES

To help you make your campaigns even more targeted, we’ve added additional attributes that you can use within your Segmentation filter including:

  • Birthday - Choose a date, or period of time in the last/next number of days

  • Membership Date - Choose from signup or expiry date. Then pick a period of time. This will help to manage subscription renewals and reduce churn rate.

  • Title Multi-Visit - Choose a title(s) and select customers by number of visits

  • Titles Seen/Not Seen - Previously this function gave you the ability to segment by Titles Seen. The new version adds the ability to target customers who have seen or not seen, any or all, of the selected movie titles, either ‘ever’ or in a specified timeframe. This will help you:

    • Send targeted movie ticket promotions and offers to customers who have seen similar movie titles either ‘ever’ or in a specified timeframe

    • Send targeted movie ticket promotions and offers to customers who have not yet seen a movie, helping to capitalise on Latent Demand before the film leaves the cinema

DYNAMIC RULE BUILDER FOR BOUNCE BACK CAMPAIGNS

In our last Engage deployment we introduced Recurring Campaigns. This Email marketing automation functionality gives you the ability to set up automatic campaigns that trigger when preset rules have been met, which saves your marketing team valuable time and effort.

With this latest release, when trying to drive attendance to future titles, you can use the titles people are currently going to see as triggers for new campaigns, so that customers automatically get targeted communications for relevant future titles based on recent behaviour. These quick and timely campaigns are a great way to help drive customer retention, which we all know is a fraction of the cost of new customer acquisition.

Example: A customer goes to see Top Gun Maverick, and following that performance they receive a targeted communication regarding the ticket sales for Bullet Train or Nope.
